EXCELLENT Based on 87 reviews Posted on Google Richard N HaireTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience ... great people ... great screens (powered)! They look awesome! Thank you!Posted on Google S ChadduckTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Totally happy with our “3season” enclosure. The guys did a great job, cleaned up after they were done, and came back to finish when they ran out of caulking within a couple days. So happy with end results! Thank you for your services!Posted on Google Daniel StocktonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I don’t usually do reviews, but we had such a phenomenal experience that I just had to. After having most of our porch done with motorized screens from a company that didn’t do fixed screens and doors, I was having such a hard time finding someone willing to come out and do what most considered a relatively small job. Every company I called either didn’t return my call or said we were too far away. Then I stumbled upon Double T. Jay was the first one to actually pick up when I called and by the time we were done with about a 15 minute call he knew exactly what I wanted, gave me a ballpark figure and told me he could install it the very next day! That evening he asked a few clarifying questions and sent me a formal quote (which was within 8% of his ballpark figure and well within the range he estimated). I had them come out one day later than they were available so I could be home for the install and it took about 2-2.5 hours. The door and screen look incredible and were exactly what we wanted. The crew even gave us recommendations on how to better seal the existing motorized screens (due to some unique aspects of our patio). I could not more highly recommend Double T!Posted on Google Ann DuffordTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A great job was done replacing the screens on our back porch. Thank you!!!Posted on Google Bill GudgeonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Double T did a great job installing our SunSpace screened patio. There were a few glitches along the way but Jay took care of them and did not let them interfere with the progress of the job. Jay communicated with us regularly even to let us know when the installers were due to arrive each day never missing a day. He is one of the best contractors we've ever engaged. The site was cleaned up each day at the conclusion of the work. Jay's main installation man, Jesus, really knows what he is doing and obviously has a lot of experience doing this type of work. We would have no hesitation in recommending Double T to anyone looking to install a screened patio. We opted to go with the top of the line SunSpace system and are really happy we did. It is a quality, engineered system and looks great. Thank you Jay for doing such a great job and taking care of our project the way you did. Bill & Deb GudgeonPosted on Google April OlivoloTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Double T Screen Team did fantastic work installing our porched-in screen. LOVE IT!!! Quality work, super timely and customer service driven from the very first meeting and estimate, to the completed product. And it took only one day! Appreciate the patience with all of our detailed questions. Had a grrrrrreat experience from start to finish.Posted on Google judith mercerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kadeem did an awesome job installing my screened patio. His professionalism and product knowledge was very impressive. Thanks for a job well done and a positive customer experience.Posted on Google M RadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great process from Estimate to Install. Enjoyed working with Jay and the installers were very polite and paid attention to every detail. Even job supervisor came by to double check everything. Only issue was the metal shavings from their saw. I would put a tarp down to catch most of that and make clean up a breeze.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about sunrooms, enclosures, installation timelines, warranties, permits, and financing.
Every project is custom-designed, so pricing depends on size, model, roof style, finishes, and any foundation work involved. Three-season rooms are generally more budget-friendly, while insulated four-season rooms with HVAC and electrical cost more due to the added materials and labor. The most accurate way to get a number is through an on-site design consultation.
A 3-season room (like the Sunspace Model 200 or 300) uses WeatherNorth Texas doesn’t really have four distinct seasons, so this comes down to how much year-round comfort you want. A 3-season room uses vinyl or single-pane glass panels, which work well for spring through fall use. A 4-season room adds insulated walls and energy-efficient glass so it can be comfortably heated and cooled no matter the time of year.Master vinyl or single-pane glass panels—great for spring through fall comfort. A 4-season room (Model 400) includes insulated walls, Low-E argon glass, and a thermally broken frame so it can be heated and cooled year-round.
Most sunrooms attach to an existing concrete slab or patio if one is already in good condition. If you don’t have a suitable slab, a new reinforced one can be poured to suit your soil conditions. Elevated decks require a different foundation approach with proper footings and support.
A well-built sunroom can add usable living space and appeal to future buyers, which often has a positive effect on resale value. How much it adds depends on the quality of construction, your neighborhood, and the local market at the time you sell. It’s worth thinking of it as an investment in how you use your home now, with resale as a secondary benefit.
Yes, sunroom and patio enclosure work should always be done by a licensed and insured contractor. This protects you if any issues come up during construction and confirms the work is being done to applicable building standards. It’s a good idea to ask any contractor for proof of licensing and insurance before signing a contract.
Warranties are typically split between the manufacturer’s coverage on materials like framing and glass panels, and the contractor’s coverage on labor and installation. It’s worth getting the specific terms and length of each in writing before construction begins. Knowing what’s covered ahead of time helps avoid confusion later on.
Summers in Allen bring high heat and strong sun exposure, while spring and early summer can bring heavy storms and wind. These conditions often play into decisions like glass type, ventilation, and whether a three-season or four-season design fits your needs best. Thinking through how you’ll use the room across different times of year can help guide the right design for your home.
